Our story began in Semporna, Sabah, in 2015, with photography journeys centred on the Bajau Laut communities, island villages, and seascapes of the region. Since then, we have organised and led more than 80 photography tour groups in Semporna.
Bajau Laut Photography Tour & Travel Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian travel agency licensed by Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), specialising in photography and cultural journeys.
From the Bajau Laut communities of Semporna and the forests and wildlife of Sabah to the landscapes and nomadic traditions of Kyrgyzstan, we create journeys that go beyond surface-level sightseeing.
Our journeys are built around cultural depth, human connection, and meaningful photography. We spend time with local communities, visit villages, and experience traditional ways of life. We explore hidden gems and remote places while focusing on the stories and emotions behind every image.
